Living up North comes with its pros and cons. One of the my favorite things about living in a cooler climate is not having to worry about dying of heat stroke each time I walk out my door in the summertime. Another great plus of living up North is the beautiful snow that blankets the earth during the winter months. All things considered, I really enjoy living were I do. However, there is one time of year that always frustrates me, and that is springtime. During the months of April and May, the weather goes crazy here. One day, it’s seventy degrees and sunny, and the next day it’s twenty-eight degrees and blizzarding. Thankfully, I have a smart thermometer. The smart thermometer allows me to control the temperature of my house using my smartphone from any location. Last week, our city had a temperature drop of over twenty degrees in seven hours. I had turned the AC on at my house before leaving for work that morning, and by the time I got home, my house was freezing. My kids got home from school and had to put there winter coats on because it was so cold in the house. I was able to get the temperature back up to a comfortable level within a few hours, but I knew I couldn’t let this happen again. It was the very next day that I decided to call and have a smart thermostat installed in my home, and I haven’t had any temperature issues since. I love the convenience of having a smart thermostat, and my kids appreciate coming home to a nice warm house.
