Kim’s incredibly proud of her hubby, Dan. He’s happens to be an officer in the U.S. Armed Forces, as well as is considered a hero by quite a few people. Together they have 2 youngsters who want to be like their daddy when they are grown. Last week, Kim as well as Dan received the news that he’ll be deployed in June. They’re devastated by this news, but at least proud that he can serve his country. Kim is especially uneasy though. She easily could just call the on-site property owner. But now they rent a house, as well as they’re responsible for more than before. The evening before Dan has to leave, they go over everything they can think of: various telephone numbers as well as directions should anything happen to go wrong. She as well as her little youngsters kiss Dan goodbye, as well as then are by themselves for a while. As luck would have it, the first week, the air conditioner breaks down in the middle of the evening! She wakes up perspiring profusely, as well as by the time she calls her property owner for an air conditioning specialist, the thermostat reads 85 degrees. She assumes a Heating, Ventilation and A/C specialist will be there shortly, but her property owner lives in another state altogether, as well as refuses to allow her to handle things on her own. She is forced to wait while he checks the pricing with several local Heating, Ventilation and A/C providers. She as well as the youngsters basically sweat it out in a sweltering home for hours on end. Plus the air blowing from the air duct smells totally awful. Dan didn’t even bring up air conditioning service when they discussed things that could go wrong. Finally, an air conditioning specialist arrives and, thankfully, performs the A/C repair without any trouble. Kim hopes by the Winter season time they won’t also be needing service to their heating equipment!
